You'll have to trust me on this: in 2010, we decided we would never release another case or stand. The reasoning is fairly personal. We're a little jaded, and it's hard to get excited about well-established categories.
It's the new ideas that really get our motor running. A capacitive stylus was a new idea in 2007. In 2009, using a trackpad like a Wacom tablet seemed revolutionary. Fling joysticks for iPad were making waves in 2011. But then, what--a stand?
The first Magnus prototype was made on our 3D printer in September. I think we all knew immediately that our rule about stands was out the window.
TweetWe're having fun showing off Magnus and Pogo Sketch+ today at CES. Despite all the crazy, we managed to get the new stuff up an listed on our site with tons of pictures.

Hope you like them!
TweetMost of Ten One will be at CES for the next week. For us, it's a time to see old friends, meet new people, and show off some new stuff. Our booth this year is #3726 (iLounge pavilion). It was designed by Jenny, and the theme revolves around one of our new products. Sorry - can't let any info on that slip until next week!
Peter contributed a small part of the booth graphics. It's a Ten One logo rendered in ASCII text using the repeated text 'Ten One Design by Peter & Jenny'.
Come over and say hi if you're in town.
TweetFrom December 8th through December 19th, Ten One will give away one or more products to lucky Twitter followers! Every day, @tenonedesign will tweet the day's product giveaway. To enter, all you need to do is retweet - pretty easy, huh? The winner(s) for each day's giveaway will be announced the following day around 9am EST on Twitter. And just a few quick house rules… Only 1 retweet per follower per day; multiple retweets will not equal multiple entries. You may not create multiple accounts to enter.
TweetIt's not unusual to hear the sounds of our 3D printer humming away into the night, building a prototype. It makes an incredibly soothing background noise for such a big machine. Sometimes, we set the baby on top of it to induce napping. Tonight, we built the fourth prototype of the upcoming [REDACTED] Case for iPhone 4S.
Frankly, the last thing we want to do is make another iPhone case that will just end up in a landfill. I'm sure you can understand - besides being a rather uninteresting product category, it's just wasteful.
This concept was different from the start. The design has personality, great function, and a great look. We think it could really catch on. Still, it's only a case.
When the design is complete, we'll show you. We may not mass produce it. We may not sell it at all. However, I'll have one. It'll be on my iPhone. It'll be nice.
