How do I get started?
Once your hardware arrives, you’ll use the QR code on the device to run the setup app. During setup, you can pick your plan, the amenities you want to provide to your guests, and what information you want to collect.

What is required to set up the Porter Hardware?
After you unpack the device, you’ll scan it to begin setup, or you can visit portersetup.com/scan/. Your phone will guide you through setup, and your fleet of Porter Minis will be ready to manage immediately. Business growth features require a Cloud plan.
How do I manage or edit my installation?
After setup, sign in to portersetup.com from any device to manage your installation.
Do guests require any special apps to interact with the platform?
Guests interact by tapping the wood block or scanning the QR code. No special apps are required for this.
How do I start the setup process for my Porter Hosptiality or Porter Mini?
Scan the QR code on the device to begin. You may also visit portersetup.com/setup/ for Porter Hosptiality, or portersetup.com/scan/ for Porter Mini.
Is the Platform available in other languages?
The Porter Dashboard and apps are in English, but the guest-facing messaging is fully customizable. Every message and every screen may be updated with the language of your choice. Additionally, several important instruction messages are automatically translated into English, French, Italian, German, or Spanish depending on the language used on your guest’s phone.
Which phones are compatible with the Platform
All modern phones are able to scan a QR code or use NFC to tap. Most phones have scanning available directly in their main camera app. This means every guest will have simple access to the experience you want to offer.
