What happens when I change my Wi-Fi password?

If you’re using the cloud management mode, you may update the password remotely in your Porter Setup app. The changes will take effect immediately for all associated Porters. You may also update it using an API call from a server. For local management mode, you would need to physically tap the device with your phone and print a new barcode.

Which phones are compatible with Porter Hospitality

All modern phones are able to either tap or scan a QR code. This allows Porter Hospitality to enjoy broad compatibility, including most older devices. Compatibility is further improved when using cloud management mode.

What is Porter Hospitality made of?

Porter Hospitality models are carved from hard maple and american black walnut, and ships with steel mounting hardware. The walnut version is inlaid with beautifully-finished stainless steel. Each piece is unique. Exact color and grain will vary.

Guests interact by tapping the wood block or scanning the QR code. No special apps are required for this.
