What’s in the box?
Menu Porter ships with everything you’ll need. It includes a back mounting bracket used for table or wall mounting, rubber feet, and a hardware kit for permanent installations. Oh - and the instructions, of course.
What is required to set up a Menu Porter?
After you unpack the device, you’ll download our Porter setup app. The app will guide you through setup, and your fleet of Porters will all be managed directly from the app.
Does using Porter require any special apps?
After Menu Porter is set up, any guest can use it without installing an app. Menu Porter uses mechanisms built in to the phone’s operating system, avoiding the need for third-party apps.Where might I find the setup apps for my Porter?

Will Menu Porter work in my country?
Yes, Porter can help share your menus anywhere your customers have a data or Wi-Fi connection. There are no geographical limitations.
Is Menu Porter available in other languages?
Menu Porter is fully customizable. Every message and every screen may be updated with the language of your choice. Additionally, several important instruction messages are automatically translated into English, French, Italian, German, or Spanish depending on the language used on your guest’s phone.
What happens when I need to change my menu?
Menu Porter links to your website or a PDF of your menu. You may change the link anytime in your Porter Setup app. The changes will take effect immediately for all associated Porters. You may also update it using an API call from a server. It is not necessary to physically reprogram the device or print a new barcode.
Which phones are compatible with Menu Porter
All modern phones are able to either tap or scan a QR code. This allows Menu Porter to enjoy broad compatibility, including most older devices.
What are the mounting options for Menu Porter
There are four standard configurations. Table top (angled), table top (flat), picture frame, and wall-mount. Please see the spec sheet for more details.
What is Menu Porter made of?
Menu Porter models are carved from hard maple and american black walnut, and ships with steel mounting hardware. Each piece is unique. Exact color and grain will vary.
